Hotel Inspiration - Banyan Tree Samui

I love a well designed hotel and The Banyan Tree Samui delivers high design in spades.  It's truly eye candy.

OMG, wouldn't you love to wake up to this everyday?

This room is has minimum color but the use of texture gives it amazing impact on the senses.

Another shot of this beautiful room.  Isn't it fabulous?

Hotel Inspiration - Hotel Allegro

I know it's been a couple of weeks since I posted, but life has been super busy especially during the first month of school.  Getting back into the school routine takes some time.   Since we're all getting back on grind today, I thought I would share some hotel inspiration with you.

Hotel Allegro's use of color is phenomenal; it makes you want to go out and buy paint and/or some colorful fabric.  lol

Wouldn't you love to host a cocktail party in this room?  You wouldn't think that these colors would work together but they do and are fabulous.

Wow, isn't the blue velvet genius?

I can definitely see myself hanging out here with kids and adults.  It's a great mix of masculine and feminine  elements.

What can I say about this room, it surely inspires a gasp; love the mix of black and white stripes with the red walls and white leather sofas.

Anyone up for a trip to Chicago?

Hotel Inspiration - Palazzo Tornabuoni

I haven't done a hotel inspiration post in a long time but when I saw this hotel I couldn't pass it up.  Palazzo Tornabuoni is a private residence club located in Italy and is part of the Four Seasons family.

I love these two-tone club chairs above, they're classic but the black and white gives them a contemporary vibe.  They can work in any space.

I love the way the colors in the fireplace are used throughout the room.

The mix of the old and new is delicious, combining the crystal chandelier with the red barrel shade chandelier is genius.  Are you drooling yet?  I sure am.

This open concept space is a great example of how to design an open space right.  Every room works in harmony, even the all stainless steel kitchen in the back of the room works well.

The bathroom is also a star, do you see how the floor reflects in the bathtub.. fabulous!!!

And of course the bedroom doesn't disappoint.  I would love to stay a couple of days in this place.
Did you see anything you liked?

Hotel Inspiration - Gansevoort Turks and Caicos

Cabin fever has set in, what's up with the cold weather and freaking rain all the time?
I'm so looking forward to warmer weather or a vacation to the sunshine.  In looking for my next hotel inspiration, I knew I wanted to a destination with a warmer climate.  I found a fabulous hotel named Gansevoort Hotel on Turks and Caicos.
The hotel decor blends dark and light in a beautiful cohesive manner and can be easily transfered to real world  living.

Enjoy the pictures below... I can certainly see myself there can't you?

This bathroom is a beautiful mix of materials. With dark cabinets, white countertops, white vessels sinks and blue tinted shower doors the room has a understated elegance while retaining that fresh and clean feeling.

This kitchen could have been very dark but the white countertops creates a great balance and is very luxurious.

Crisp white linens will always give bedrooms an airy feeling.

Hotel Inspiration - Wynn Las Vegas

The Wynn, is one of the most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas, here are some photos that will give you some design inspiration. The uses of bold color is striking and also calming which is very difficult to do.

Normally this combination could be gaudy but isn't the red, black and white beautiful?
